We are pleased to announce that a small saxophone concert with saxophonist Marina Moyà will take place at Espai Gustavo on Thursday 2 September at 8pm.
Marina Moyà is a saxophonist, composer and music therapist born in Capdepera (Mallorca) in 1987. She has studied at the Conservatorio Profesional de Palma de Mallorca, the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco Musikene (Donostia/San Sebastián), the Conservatoire de Lyon and the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Colonia. As a saxophonist, she has won awards as a soloist and chamber musician in national competitions and has performed in auditoriums and festivals throughout Europe. She collaborates with the Orquesta Sinfónica de las Islas Baleares under the direction of conductors such as Pablo Mielgo, Joji Hattori, Alastair Willis and Alondra de la Parra, among others. She has also performed with the Baltic Youth Philharmonic Orchestra under Kurt Masur and collaborated with the Balearic Youth Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, he has performed with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Teatro Chapí de Villena and the orchestra "Amics dels Clàssics" from Barcelona.
